Nurse and Shepherd

I’ve been a nurse for going on 16 years, and I continue to use that off farm work to support my farming start up. I had some agriculture exposure during my childhood, but I did not grow up in a farming family. In 2014 I moved up from Tennessee back by family and bought 40 acres of grass and woods. That was the start of my farming journey, and now I have a flock of about 80 sheep and a small 8-10 animal cow herd.
